St Giles Hospice provides care for local people and their families, living with a potentially incurable illness.
It costs more than £9m to provide care every year and we believe that there are at least another 1,000 people locally who could benefit from our specialist care, if funds were available. We couldn’t provide our services to people in your local community without the support of people like you. Thank you so much.

Rowans Hospice is a local charity which provides specialist hospice care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses resident in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire, their relatives and carers. All the care given is without charge. It costs £7.2 million each year to provide hospice care and to ensure the hospice building and grounds are well maintained, offering a haven for rest and recuperation. Although Rowans Hospice receives some statutory support from the NHS and Social Services, the majority of the money still needs to be fundraised each year. This would not be achieved without help and support from the local community.

Arthur Rank Hospice supports more than 3600 patients living with a life-limiting illness and those who need end-of-life care in Cambridgeshire, each year.
As a charity, we need to secure £8.1 million every year to deliver our services free of charge to patients and their loved ones. Only about half of this currently comes from commissioned income, so we are hugely grateful to our local community, which contributes the remainder and whose support is critical in helping us make every moment count.
