    Arthur Rank Hospice supports more than 3600 patients living with a life-limiting illness and those who need end-of-life care in Cambridgeshire, each year. 

    As a charity, we need to secure £8.1 million every year to deliver our services free of charge to patients and their loved ones.  Only about half of this currently comes from commissioned income, so we are hugely grateful to our local community, which contributes the remainder and whose support is critical in helping us make every moment count.

    At Primrose Hospice we are honoured to be able to support patients with life limited illnesses and their families, providing them with the care and support they need during difficult times.

    Each year we support almost 1,000 people living in North East Worcestershire. All our services are aimed at helping our patients ‘Live Well’ and ensure they have choices regarding their care.

    Our services include Day Hospice, Specialist Nurse Clinic, Physiotherapy, Counselling, Complementary Therapies and Wellbeing Service.  In addition we offer Psychological, Spiritual, Social and Family Support to include children and young people.

    The Mary Ann Evans Hospice provides exceptional specialised care & support to patients and their families in Nuneaton, Bedworth, Northern Warwickshire & surrounding villages who are living with a life limiting illness.     St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in east Suffolk living with a progressive or terminal illness.     Woking & Sam Beare Hospices is a charity that cares for over 1,400 patients and their carers and families each year. We specialise in delivering holistic care for patients with progressive advanced conditions that are life limiting. The hospice’s care is delivered in the community in patient homes, in care or nursing homes or through its in-patient ward in the hospice; as well as through the Bradbury Wellbeing Centre, which offers day care services to all its patients and carers.

    Description of the charity:

    At any one time Farleigh Hospice is taking care of the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of around 1,400 people, free of charge. It costs £16,039 every day to care for people with life-limiting illnesses in mid Essex by providing doctors, nurses, counsellors and therapists.

    With approximately 40% of our income coming from the local NHS, we rely on the support and goodwill of the local community to raise the remainder. Whether someone requires relief from pain, expert advice, help to live positively, specialist care in a comforting environment or support for their family, we are dedicated to offering them compassionate care.

      Phyllis Tuckwell is the only Hospice Care service for adult patients, and their families, across the whole of West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire. Every day we support over 250 patients, carers and relatives in their own homes, in the community, at the Hospice in Farnham and at the Beacon Centre in Guildford. All our services are free of charge to our patients and their families, but we need to raise over £20,000 a day to offer such an exceptional standard of clinical care and support.
