About Life Changing Challenges
Life Changing Challenges organise charity challenge events to help raise much needed funds for UK charities. Our challenges are not only life changing for the participates but also for the charities who benefit from the money raised.
Our mission is to help people fulfil their lifetime ambitions while raising much needed funds for charities large or small and increase the general publics knowledge of that charity.
We combine the skills and attributes of our team to provide a professional and high quality experience for all our challengers.
Participants are led by experienced qualified professionals who pride themselves on been friendly and supportive.
Our Challenges are flexible, offering numerous dates and different payment methods to suit all budgets. You can select from either our fundraising option, or self funded option where you pay the event costs and raise whatever you can for your nominated charity.
You are in safe hands all our events are professionally run, enjoyable and of course, Life Changing!
Far too many people have no idea of what they can do because all they have been told is what they can't do.
Challenge yourself, change your life and others by supporting a charity of your choice.
Self funding option
The self funding option is ideal for those wishing to personally cover the full cost of the challenge themselves. The cost is made up of the deposit, which is payable at the time of booking, and the final balance, which is payable six weeks prior to the challenge. This option allows the challenger to decide upon how much they donate to their nominated charity if they choose to do so.
The fundraising option benefits both the individual and their nominated charity because the cost of the challenge is paid from the funds raised, making it an affordable option for the challenger and a profitable option for their nominated charity.
The cost is made up of the deposit, which is payable at the time of booking, and the minimum sponsorship amount. The minimum sponsorship amount should be sent directly to the nominated charity as it is raised, the charity must receive 100% of the minimum sponsorship amount at least six weeks prior to the challenge. The charity will then meet the costs of the challenge.
UK Challenge Guides
Being based in The North East and North West, a place which many professional mountaineers, guides and instructors call home; we are working with them to bring together dedicated, qualified and experienced people to work alongside.
All of the guides and instructors are at least Walking group Leaders or Mountain Leaders and first aid qualified, with a minimum of 2 years experience. Many of them have higher level qualifications such as winter mountain leader, MIA and MIC and have spent their working lifetime guiding and instructing in mountaineering and climbing; both in the UK and around the world.
