The Charity

South East Coast Ambulance Charity

Saving Lives Across the South East.

Every day, across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, ambulance crews and volunteers respond to emergencies every minute of the day. The South East Coast Ambulance Charity helps them go further supporting patients, promoting lifesaving awareness - helping strengthen patient care at the very moment it matters most.

Your support helps us to:

  • Expand the reach of Community First Responders so more patients receive fast, local help.
  • Provide extra support for ambulance crews facing intense pressure
  • Promote public access defibrillators and raise awareness of CPR in communities
  • Fund projects that help more people step in and make a difference before an ambulance arrives

What about insurance?

The centre holds public liability insurance.  You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works

On payment of the deposit we will contact your chosen charity to let them know you are supporting them.

Once you have raised the minimum donation the charity will cover the cost of the challenge, then they keep the remaining donation to benefit their charity.

When you select the fundraising option you agree to raise the minimum of £1000 per person in sponsorship for your charity.  You agree to send sponsorship money to the charity as they raise it.  100% of the minimum sponsorship required must be sent to the charity no later than eight weeks prior to the challenge. We then invoice the charity for the cost, this means that the charity receives over 50% in profit from the minimum donation.
