Every year Tiny Lives helps 700+ premature and sick newborn babies and their families in the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at one of the most difficult times of their lives.  As a local charity supporting local families we rely on the support of individuals, businesses, and community organisations in the region to help us help families from across the North East and Cumbria.

The Tiny Lives team very much appreciates your extraordinary fundraising for extra special babies. We can help and support your fundraising - from collection tubs and t-shirts to posters and press releases - so please do contact us on 0191 230 2112 info@tinylives.org.uk

The Tiny Lives Trust is a registered charity that supports the Neonatal Service at Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary caring for babies from across the North East and Cumbria. Our family focused work helps parents and their children by:

- providing keepsake boxes, a journal and progress stickers for parents to chart their baby’s progress in the early critical days, weeks, and sometimes months

- funding developmental care aids so newborn babies develop and thrive

- supporting a specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist to aid early development, support families, and train nursing staff

- funding a ward based Social Worker who helps families access benefits and provides emotional and practical support

- furnishing a parents’ room and accommodation as families often have to stay close to their baby

- offering financial support and travel passes for low income families who may have to travel for many months across the region

- funding research into neo natal care that helps support a centre of excellence in the region
